Technical Key Skills :

  • Excellent trouble shooting skill on Windows Server OS (Windows Servers (2008R2 – 2012R2)
  • This position will require an individual who is a self-starter; detail oriented, and has the ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication is a must.
  • The individual must be able to analyse situations and problems to determine how to resolve problems and the root cause of these problems.
  • Responsible for day-to-day L3 support for Windows & AD infrastructure, including troubleshooting Windows AD/DNS/DHCP/ IIS services issues.
  • Must have knowledge on working systems running on VMware and basic knowledge of VM ware
  • Day to day housekeeping – Ensuring that servers are healthy and have adequate hardware capacity
  • AD tasks – Group policies, Account and security group management, User permissions
  • Day to day interaction with Customer onsite teams to resolve incidents
  • Raising, discussing and executing change management tasks
  • Must investigate and diagnose Problems. Proactively review Incident trends.
  • Execute Tasks that are not well-defined requiring a deeper level of knowledge and understanding
  • Should be able to independently research and troubleshoot day-to-day issues related to Windows Server and AD environment
  • Familiarity to industry standard backup tools eg. Net backup
  • Basic knowledge on MS Exchange based user management, mailbox permissions, distribution lists, mailbox account management etc…
  • Basic Knowledge on Linux Servers
  • Must be able to work independently to manage technical issues and hence, should be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to basic troubleshooting on standard applications running on Windows servers
